 Recora PDS Switch has been designed for smaller
area applications which require stand-alone presence detection. Just place on a
smooth surface, connect lead wiring and you are ready. PDS mats are (3/8") versatile
Switches; perfect for presence detection under seat cushions, mattress and wheelchair
applications. PDS has been used in assisted living facilities.
Construction
Over the years Recora has developed technology to make the PDS very rugged yet simple
to construct. PDS switches are sealed in a durable vinyl cover and are designed
for low voltage operation, Class II N.E.C. circuit operation, 100 watts at 24 volts
AC or DC. Contacts are single pole, single throw, normally open, momentary contact
type.

Standard sensitivity is 3-5 lbs.

PDS Switch leads are single 22AWG 2-conductor wire

Color
Grey is standard for PDS Switches. Other colors available are black and blue.
Sizes
2.5”x 27” is standard, custom sizes can be ordered.
