 Recora BES Switch has been designed for smaller
area applications which require stand-alone presence detection. Just place on a
smooth surface, connect lead wiring and you are ready. BES mats are (3/8") versatile
Switches; perfect for presence detection under a mattress.
BES has been used in assisted living facilities.
Construction
Over the years Recora has developed technology to make the BES very rugged yet simple
to construct. BES switches are sealed in a durable vinyl cover over a PVC base plate and are designed
for low voltage operation, Class II N.E.C. circuit operation, 100 watts at 24 volts
AC or DC. Contacts are single pole, single throw, normally open, momentary contact
type.

Standard sensitivity is 3-5 lbs.
